Fairy Tale 3rd Birthday

Celebrating my best friends’ daughter’s birthday in a big way is something we always do. Every year so far I’ve made her cake, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger!

Adele from The Balloon Showroom and I spend months dreaming up the perfect set up, accompanying sweet treats and of course, the cake.

This year the theme was Fairy Tale in pink and peach with hints of gold.

The cake was 3 tiers, each tier chocolate cake with a different flavoured buttercream. The bottom tier had oreo buttercream, the middle was nutella and the top was chocolate orange. The cakesicles were all fudgy chocolate with cornflakes for added crunch. The mushroom cupcakes were vanilla with white fondant ‘spots’. The personalised fairy wand and fairy shaped biscuits were vanilla with coloured fondant icing.
